I’m Alicen Lum, a Seattle-Tacoma photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, milestone, family, and high school senior photography. My private photography studio is located in Federal Way, Washington, conveniently serving families throughout Seattle, Tacoma, Kent, Auburn, Puyallup, Bellevue, and the South Puget Sound.

I absolutely love what I do, and my goal is to create beautiful, timeless portraits that you and your family will treasure for generations.

I’m a photographer, but I’m not simply interested in taking pictures. I want to capture the connection, emotion, and personality that make each family unique—the way a new mother looks at her baby, the excitement of becoming a big brother or sister, the laughter between family members, or the confidence of a high school senior celebrating an important milestone.

I began my photography journey more than 17 years ago, photographing family and friends. What started as a passion quickly grew into a career dedicated to photographing people and telling their stories through beautiful portraits.

Today, I specialize in creating carefully styled and professionally photographed maternity and posed newborn portraits, along with milestone, family, and senior photography. My Federal Way studio provides a comfortable, private environment where we can create portraits that are both beautiful and meaningful.
